Be Yourself :)

The persons who are different usually end up making a difference in the world. That's what I think, so why do you want to conform to the fads of society, be unique, be crazy, be YOU. "Perfect" doesn't exist. We are flawed, that's what people should love us for. Not some superficial concept of godliness that doesn't exist.
Being different isn't a crime, if we were all alike the world would be boring. Stand up for what you believe in, stand up for who you are. Don't mimic others, you are who you are, so why are you trying to be someone else? The greatest thing you can be is yourself, there is only one you.

Cherish every moment :)

So I've been obsessed with "Let Her Go" by The Passengers, lately and I've realized how many things people take for granted, and this is going to be a short post but it's just a little advice.
Take risks, be yourself, live life to the fullest, be happy, fulfill your dreams, be what and who you want, stop trying to please others. And the best thing I learned form this song is always say how you feel, because you never know if you'll get back the lost time, and the wasted chance.
You may be scared to take risks, be it in relationships, work, and life overall, but let me tell you, sometimes you'll rise and sometimes you'll fall. But to be truly strong is to never give up, and try again, because you never truly fail, you just learn what not to do, and grow. Be better than you were yesterday, and be the best you can be tomorrow.
Smile while you can, Laugh your butt off, Cry when you feel like, you are free to be you, so don't imitate anyone else. And one day you'll find someone who likes you with all your perfections and faults, someone who accepts those flaws as the reason why you're you. Persevere when it seems hopeless and everyday will feel amazing. It may not always be sunshine and rainbows, but without the rain and storm you'll never be able to appreciate the blue sky's beauty and the rainbows elegance.
Never let anyone bring you down, only you can control that. Never depend on solely on others to raise you up, because you give them permission to plummet you. 
And if you feel you can't go on, You just do it. You force yourself to put one foot before the other, and bloody hell, you refuse to let it get to you. You fight. You Cry. You Curse. You let it all out! Then you begin again; better, stronger, wiser.
And remember never let your heart falter, for that's where your path to happiness lies. So just smile. :)

So my friend recently came out of a relationship, and she was heart broken. I couldn't understand how someone could hurt another, and this poem reflects my thoughts, an original piece by yours truly.

What if?

What if you were in her space?

What if she hurt you?

What if you were the one waiting?

Waiting for a love that was never was yours.

‘What if?’ ‘What if?’ ‘What if?’

That’s all she can ask, ‘what if?’

Would you fight the way she did?

Or would you just give up?

Would you walk through fire?

Would you fight the rain?

But again we wouldn’t know,

We can only ask, ‘what if?’

Would you feel her pain?

Would you cry again and again?

Would you accept her ridiculous excuse?

Or would you snap?

Yeah but we wouldn’t know,

Only, ‘what if?’

So before you hurt someone,

Think about what I’ve said,

Think about how you’d react,

Impossible expectations

 Hey My Cutie Crazies,
This is for all those who girls who agree with this:"Why is it so hard for women to find men that are sensitive, caring, and good-looking? Because those men already have boyfriends."--this is crap! You people have to see whats right in front of you cause you'll loose him.when you have a great guy you drive him mad by complaining and always criticizing! Then when he speaks his mind you say he's inconsiderate,insensitive and a lot of bad things. Girls who agree with that should grow up. Everyone's not perfect and guys do have their flaws and may be inconsiderate at times but girls you're no different! And stop trying to change the guys, they have as much right to be themselves as any girl i know! So please stop with that crap and stop being sexist, what goes for guys goes for girls too! And I know girls that can see things for what it is, not what they want it to look like and I think you girls should at least try to see it this way, not only from your perspective but from the perspective of the guys... But don't think you're off the hook Guys, some of you are guilty for the same thinking. You want a girl who has a rocking Body, who complies to whatever you want, she's supposed to automatically know what you want.... it doesn't work like that. Love her for who she is, respect her for being unique, compliment her, don't ignore her. If you argue, don't leave her, because she's going to feel really horrible if you give up. If she's worth fighting for, hold onto her, don't make her feel inferior, make her feel like the most beautiful person in the world. Show her how much you appreciate her, and never her hurt her.
So what I'm trying to say Guys and Gals, is don't place impossible expectations on others, accept them for who they are, and happiness is only a smile away. :)

You Don't need to see it, to believe it, so stop being a partypooper :p

Hey my Cutie Crazies, it's been so long, I'm sorry about the wait. University has me really busy, but I've finally got some free time :)
So i think you're wondering about my choice of title, and the reason i chose that title is because I'm sick of people squashing others' fantasies and dreams. Seriously chill out and quit doing that, so what if someone wants to believe in fairies, vampires, werewolves and other supernatural creatures, just let them be. It isn't your duty to tell them "Hey, you're so weird, those things don't exist". Well by doing that you're just a douchey partypooper. Who are you supposed to be? The bleeding Realist Enforcer? No you're not, so chill out. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it isn't real. Take for instance Dinosaurs, have you seen one personally? No. But you believe, because you see remnants of them, so in my theory why can't Dragons be real? Why can't these mythical creatures be cousins of the dinosaurs? But no, people just have to tell others it's just not possible... Why can't it be possible? Because it wasn't scientifically proved? Well if NASA says that dragons existed, would you magically believe because its scientifically proven? I'm not trying to say you SHOULD believe in them, but all I'm trying to get across is, don't squash someone's fantasy to prove your own point, it's pathetic.
Another thing don't force your ideals on someone, it's not right. If I don't like something, it's my opinion, you've expressed yours, so why should you try to force your opinion on me. Everyone's entitled to their own wrong opinion( lol im joking).... As i was saying, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean you should completely disregard it and try to undermine the other person, it's so not cool; well unless the stuff the other person says is truly utter crap, then go ahead, but do it a nice way, try not to hurt their feelings.

Caribbean Moms and the Holidays

Haii my cutie crazies! You can all call me Iris, and this is my first blog. So as you can see from the title, i blog about totally random stuff; I will rant sometimes, I'll speak about something serious but all times I'll be true to my Insanely Awesome way.  So without further ado, let's get to the actual topic, my first blog.

Caribbean Moms and The Holidays :D
So my Cutie Crazies, what do you know about Caribbean moms and the holidays? Nothing, if you don't have one; and i can tell you from experience that they are the scariest things since freddy and jason came in the same nitpicking movie!! Why do i say this? let's start the torture relay...
1. Shopping
Sounds so pleasant but it isn't -_- Caribbean moms can go downtown with a list and buy everything that isn't on that list. Yeah all moms can be like this, but would your mom make you walk from one end of the shopping district to the other end and then realize she wants an item from the store you passed about 2hours ago! maybe, but would she when she reaches that said store, change her mind and say she saw the same item in the store you just left for cheaper? I. THINK. NOT! By the time she's all satisfied you've walked around that shopping district about 25 times, and you still didn't get what was on the list. Yeah I'm not kidding, maybe that's why caribbean kids lose more weight during the holiday seasons.
2. Shopping Bags
Caribbean moms can have about 20 bags, and they'll be like "awww let me help you". And you're feeling so awesome that you're getting help. Do you know what she does? yes, she takes the lightest bag of them all, yo that's totally not cool. And if you slow down she'll call you "lazy" "granny" "old", yea these caribbean moms are crazy, that's why we Caribbean kids soooo strong. lolmao.
3. Cleaning
Now in my opinion this is the WORST! My mom can do cleaning last week and then come this week and start on a rant about how dirty the place is and clean again. And no we do not dirty the place, no she just wants to clean. Why? Because its the holiday and these women go crazy like a fat kid in Willy Wonka's Factory. And just to make it clear, when they clean, we have to clean too. Why? BECAUSE SHE SAID SO.
Well that's only about 3 reasons out of the millions of situations, but i hope you guys enjoy my first blog. And to set the record we love our Caribbean moms, I for one totally love my crazy mommy, and wouldn't change her for the world. But they can go a litlle crazy sometimes, especially on the holidays. But that's the fun experiences in life. So enjoy all your experiences my cutie crazies and and always love who you are.
